U.S. 43

U.S. 43 comes into Tuscaloosa from the southwest in a duplex with U.S. 11. Just north of the northern end of Interstate 359, U.S. 11 heads south onto the interstate, while U.S. 43 goes north to cross the Black Warrior River. After entering the Tuscaloosa suburb of Northport, U.S. 43 heads west with U.S. 82 for a short duplex.

own as it splits from U.S. 82.

to U.S. 78 and Hamilton on its other end.
