DE 5 extends from the bay village of Oak Orchard to DE 1 north of Milton. The highway has short duplexes with DE 23 and DE 24 during its 19 mile route.

Oak Orchard

DE 5 comes to an end at Indian River Bay in Oak
Orchard. The road curves to the northeast for a
moment, but ends in just a few feet. There is no

at this intersection, even though no signs indicate
