OKRoads.com -- Missouri Highway Guides -- Interstate 470

Spanning 16 miles, Interstate 470 runs along the southeast part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. It begins at the Grandview Triangle interchange with Interstate 435 and U.S. 71. After getting through the tricky interchange, Interstate 470 heads east for seven miles duplexed with U.S. 50, then heads due north three miles later as MO 291 joins the interstate. Just after an exit at U.S. 40, Interstate 470 ends at Interstate 70, between Independence and Blue Springs.
