INTERSTATE 395

Originally planned to be Interstate 95 through the District of Columbia, Interstate 395 spans from the Capital Beltway near Springfield, Virginia, to U.S. 50/New York Ave. in Washington, DC.

Interstate 395 South as it prepares to cross the Potomac
River into Virginia. The Arlington Cemetery and Reagan
National Airport exit is just on the other side of the bridge.
Interstate 395 South approaching Arlington Cemetery/
Reagan National Airport exit - 1/2 mile.
Interstate 395 South at Potomac Park exit.
Interstate 395 South at Maine Avenue exit. The exit
ramp also leads to another exit for 12th Street in 1/4
mile.
Interstate 395 South at 6th St. SW/7th St. SW exit.
Interstate 395 South at TO Interstate 295 - Anacostia
exit. Some maps sign this connector as part of Interstate
395, but as you can kind of see here, it is not.
Interstate 395 South approaching 2nd St. SW/U.S.
Capitol exit - 1/2 mile.
Interstate 395 South as it prepares to enter a tunnel
just south of U.S. 50. This tunnel goes directly underneath
the Department of Labor building and the National
Mall, with the famous capitol reflecting pool just east
of the tunnel.
