Highway Review:
MD 16 begins at Taylors Island near the Chesapeake Bay. It then heads towards Cambridge and duplexes with U.S. 50 for three miles. After that, MD 16 heads northward and travels through East New Market, Preston, and Harmony. MD 16 intersects MD 404 east of Denton, and duplexes with that highway for three miles. Less than three miles after leaving DE 404 behind, MD 16 enters the state of Delaware and becomes its Route 16.
