Highway
Review:
After leaving Virginia behind, U.S. 13 continues its northerly
trek into Maryland. It only lasts 42 miles in the Old Line State,
but goes through towns such as Pocomoke City, Princess Anne (home
of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore), and Salisbury. A
bypass of Salisbury was completed in the late 1990s. U.S. 13 is
duplexed with U.S. 50 for the northeastern part of the bypass.
About four miles after leaving the bypass behind, U.S. 13 enters
Delaware and immediately intersects MD/DE 54.
