As we pass a Virgin Records store on the left, another mileage sign gives the distances to Exit 2 and to Exit 1B. This does not, however, mean that there are just two miles left on U.S. 75. U.S. 75 officially ends at Interstate 30, but mile marker 0 is located at the Woodall Rogers Freeway (Exit 1A). For the mile and a half following Exit 1A, Interstate 45 exit numbers take over, even though the freeway is not yet Interstate 45. However, the short stretch of U.S. 75 between Interstate 30 and the Woodall Rogers Freeway is hidden Interstate 345. (Photo taken 3/16/05) |
