These Interstate 43 North and Alternate Interstate 39 shields are posted just east of Interstate 39 and Interstate 90. Alternate Interstate 39 travels along Interstate 43 from Exit 1 to Exit 6, travels north along Wisconsin 140 to U.S. 14, then follows U.S. 14 West back to Interstate 39. Interstate 43 North at Exit 25 - Wisconsin 67 - Elkhorn/Williams Bay. The city of Elkhorn (pop. 7,305) is one mile to the north, and the village of Williams Bay (pop. 2,415) is five miles to the south along Lake Geneva. (Photo taken 7/12/05)

Despite the fact that Elkhorn is on the northwest corner of the interchange, use Exit 27A (U.S. 12 East) to the nearby Walworth County NN exit to the city. U.S. 12 bypasses Elkhorn to its east and has no other interchanges to the city. (Photo taken 7/12/05)
