During the final fall break of my college life, I took a short roadtrip through Missouri and Arkansas. The trip began immediately after my last class ended on Wednesday, October 19, at 1 pm. I left from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond and took Interstate 44 East to Springfield, Missouri, where I made it in time for church services that evening. Thursday, October 20, I drove Interstate 44 east to St. Louis, then I did some driving around St. Louis on Interstates 64, 70, 170, and 270, and made a short jaunt into Illinois to clinch Interstate 270. After that, I took Interstate 55 South to U.S. 67, and followed U.S. 67 to Corning, Arkansas, where I then headed east on U.S. 62 to Arkansas 135 and U.S. 49 South to Jonesboro, where I ended Day Two. From Jonesboro, I followed U.S. 63 North to U.S. 62 West to Arkansas 7 South and drove the Ozark Mountain Scenic Byway from Harrison to Hot Springs. After reaching Hot Springs, I drove west on U.S. 270 to Arkansas 272, where I picked up the Talimena Scenic Drive. I drove the Talimena Scenic Drive and Oklahoma 1 to McAlester, where I spent the final night of the roadtrip. I headed back to Oklahoma City in time for church bus visitation Saturday morning at 10.

I clinched two interstates on this trip and re-clinched another. I drove the parts of Interstates 170 and 270 that I had not driven yet, and drove the part of Interstate 64 that has opened since I clinched the interstate in August 2003. I have driven all of Interstate 70 and parts of Interstate 170 and Interstate 270, but did not have them photographically covered because I drove those highways in 2001, before OKRoads was ever a thought in my mind.
