DAY NINE SUMMARY
Wednesday, July 13, 2005

I drove just over 500 miles on this day from Rochester, Minnesota, to Omaha, Nebraska. I took a short sidetrip and clinched Interstate 680 in Iowa and Nebraska. The weather cooperated as there was not one raindrop all day for only the second time this trip. I ended the day by going to church and surprising a friend of mine who works at the church there.

Today was a relatively easy day, as I drove just 354 miles from Omaha to Wichita. I did take a short sidetrip along Interstate 180 in Lincoln and clinched that interstate. The weather was great again on this day as there was no precipitation to speak of.
