OKRoads -- Interstate 17

Interstate 17 connects Phoenix to Flagstaff. There is a drastic change in scenery and elevation between its two ends. The highway's southern terminus is in Phoenix, at about 1,000 feet above sea level and in the desert, while the northern terminus of Interstate 17 is in Flagstaff, which is about 7,000 feet above sea level and in a forest.
