Interstate 77
Interstate 77 provides part of a main north-south route between the Southeast and the Great Lakes. Beginning at Interstate 26 in southern Columbia, South Carolina, Interstate 77 travels through Charlotte, Statesville, Wytheville, Beckley, Charleston (WV), Marietta, and Akron on its way to Cleveland, Ohio, where the interstate ends at Interstate 90 near Jacobs Field, the home of the Cleveland Indians baseball team. Much of the route travels through mountainous terrain, and two tunnels carry the interstate in southwest Virginia.
