PennDOT recommends using Exit 211 to the Elk Mountain Ski Resort. Signage directs the way from Exit 211 to the resort, which is to the east along Pennsylvania 374. Pennsylvania 374 is served by Exit 206, which means that Exit 206 can also be used to the resort. (Photo taken 7/9/05)

The upcoming interchange is the northern terminus of Interstate 476, the longest three-digit interstate in the country. The next exit is Exit 191, a cloverleaf interchange at Business U.S. 6. No trucks over 10 1/2 tons are allowed to use U.S. 11 South into Scranton. They must continue to Exit 185 to the city's downtown. The city of Scranton is home to 76,415 and is the 7th largest city in Pennsylvania. (Photo taken 7/9/05)

The first notice of the massive interchange connecting Interstate 81, Interstate 84, Interstate 380, and U.S. 6 is posted two miles to the north of the interchange. It was rebuilt during the 1990s and now provides access to the relatively new U.S. 6 freeway. (Photo taken 7/9/05)

It looks like Exit 188 should be used to the Penn State Worthington Scranton and Marywood University campuses, and Exit 185 (Central Scranton Expressway) should be used to the University of Scranton and Lackawanna College.
