As with many mainline toll plazas along the Illinois tollway system, there are automatic and manual lanes. The automatic lanes are for cars only and take change. The manual lanes are for all vehicles and accept cash. Within the next decade, this toll plaza, along with all the other ones on the tollway system, will have open-road tolling available, which means that those with I-PASS will not have to stop or slow down at the toll plazas.
