Summer 2004 Roadtrip #2
August 8-12, 2004
After working ten consecutive nights at work (with all but the first one of those being 3rd shifts!), I was rewarded with a couple of extra days off. So, I did what I normally do with a few days off and took a roadtrip. This trip took me as far north on Interstate 35 as I could go, which allowed me to clinch that interstate. I also clinched Interstates 235 (KS), 535, 494, 694, 129, and 480 (the one in the Omaha area) during the course of the trip. During the trip I drove 2,652 miles, with the most being on Day Two, when I drove 725 miles from Wichita, KS to North Branch, MN, and the least being on Day One, when I drove from Oklahoma City to Wichita, a distance of 164 miles. During the trip, OKRoads visited four states for the first time; Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
