DE 404 is a vital route between U.S. 50 near Wye Mills, Maryland,
and the ocean shores of eastern Delaware. The highway's final 12
miles are duplexed with U.S. 9, and its ten middle miles (between
Bridgeville and Georgetown) are duplexed with DE 18.
