U.S. 9

Highway Review:
U.S. 9 runs from U.S. 13 near Laurel, Delaware, to the Cape May-Lewes Ferry just northeast of Lewes. It then crosses the Delaware Bay on the ferry and begins again in Cape May, New Jersey. The highway is signed east-west in Delaware despite its odd number, which normally indicates a north-south route.

eastern terminus of DE 404. No "END" sign is posted for that
route. As for U.S. 9, that highway heads south and duplexes with
DE 1 for 1.4 miles.
