Highway
Review:
U.S. 9 runs from U.S. 13 near Laurel, Delaware, to the Cape
May-Lewes Ferry just northeast of Lewes. It then crosses the
Delaware Bay on the ferry and begins again in Cape May, New
Jersey. The highway is signed east-west in Delaware despite its
odd number, which normally indicates a north-south route.
