OKRoads.com -- Fields Trip -- Interstate 35 Kansas

Interstate 35 spans 1,568 miles from Laredo, Texas, to Duluth, Minnesota. The interstate travels through Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Minnesota. On Day One of the Fields Trip, I drove Interstate 35 from Oklahoma City to Wichita.

	"Welcome to Kansas" sign on Interstate 35 North. The interstate will enter the state of Missouri in just 225 miles in Kansas City.
	Interstate 35 North at Exit 4 - U.S. 166/U.S. 81 - Arkansas City/South Haven. This is the last chance to exit before motorists have to pay toll.

	A look at the old toll plaza, located underneath the U.S. 160 bridge at Exit 19. The old plaza was in the process of being removed.
	Just past the old toll plaza is Exit 19 - U.S. 160 - Wellington/Winfield.
	Interstate 35 North at the Belle Plaine Service Area. The service area was in the process of being rebuilt after a fire destroyed the old one. The new service area was finished in June 2003.
