FIELDS TRIP
Interstate 80 Nebraska

Interstate 80 spans 2,900 miles across the United States. It begins in San Francisco and ends in New York City. On Day One of the Fields Trip, I drove Interstate 80 from U.S. 81 near York, Nebraska, to Omaha; and on Day Two, I drove the highway between Omaha and Interstate 380 near Iowa City, Iowa.

	Speed Limit 75 sign on Interstate 80 East. It sure was good to see this sign. The miles I drove on Interstate 80 outside of the Lincoln and Omaha areas are the only ones where I got to drive 75 legally until the final day.

	Another mileage sign, now just two miles from U.S. 275/NE 92 and 2 1/2 miles from Interstate 680. According to this sign, 1/2 mile separates the next two interchanges from each other.

	The Exit 452 off-ramp splits into northbound Interstate 480/U.S. 75 and southbound U.S. 75 here. Interstate 480 connects to downtown Omaha and Interstate 29 just east of the Missouri River.
	Interstate 80 East at Exit 453 - 24th St. The exit is partially located inside the Interstate 480/U.S. 75 interchange. Several ramps from that interchange are seen here.
	Interstate 80 East approaching the final exit in Nebraska, Exit 454 - 1 mile. Interstate 29 is two miles ahead in the state of Iowa.
	Interstate 80 East at Exit 454 - 13th Street. This exit leads to the Henry Doorly Zoo and Rosenblatt Stadium, home of the College World Series and the Omaha Royals AAA baseball team.
