California 126 connects U.S. 101 in Ventura to Interstate 5 and CA 14 in Santa Clarita. The highway is 4-lane divided for its entire length. Its first 12 miles run along the Santa Paula Freeway. On Day Three of the Deserts & Mountains Trip, I drove CA 126 from Interstate 5 to U.S. 101.

	CA 126 West at Exit 40 - Castaic Junction. The exit was closed for construction. The interchange is located just west of Interstate 5.

	CA 126 West at Exit 1B - Main St. Notice the pull-through sign now has "U.S. 101 North - San Francisco" as CA 126 is about to come to an end.
