DESERTS & MOUNTAINS TRIP
Interstate 15 Arizona

Interstate 15 runs along the west side of the Rocky Mountains. The interstate spans from San Diego, California, to the Canada border near Sweetgrass, Montana. Part of the interstate's 29-mile stretch in the far northwest corner of Arizona is among the most scenic interstates in the country, as the highway weaves its way through the Virgin River Gorge. On Day Three of the Deserts & Mountains Trip, I drove Interstate 15 from Interstate 40 in Barstow to CA 18 West in Victorville. On Day Four, I drove Interstate 15 from CA 58 in Barstow to Cedar City, Utah, and on Day Five, I drove the interstate from Cedar City to Interstate 70.
