Deserts & Mountains Trip
June 23-July 2, 2003

This trip took me through the deserts and mountains of the western United States. I had three missions for this trip; 1) To drive the western half of Interstate 40; 2) To drive the western half of Interstate 70 (which would clinch that interstate); and 3) To spend time with relatives in the Kansas City area. All three were accomplished during the trip's ten days. I also had the opportunity to attend a doubleheader between the Cleveland Indians and the Kansas City Royals on Monday, June 30, in which the Royals were swept 10-5 and 8-5. The trip was the longest one in OKRoads history to this point, but it was a great experience.
