Summer 2004 Roadtrip #1
July 14-16, 2004
Two days after my 21st birthday, I was able to take an extra day off work, so I took a 3-day roadtrip. The main purpose for this trip was to clinch all the interstates I possibly could within a 500-or-so-mile radius of Oklahoma City, which included Dallas, Fort Worth, Little Rock, Memphis, and St. Louis.
I drove over 2,100 miles during the trip. I clinched ten interstates in the three days. Most of the routes clinched were short, but I also did manage to clinch Interstate 30. I drove all of the Little Rock area interstates, and completed all of Arkansas' interstate mileage during the trip. The interstates I clinched were 30, 35W (TX), 155, 240 (TN), 430, 440, 530, 630, 635 (TX), and 820.
