OKRoads -- Bayous & Blues Roadtrip -- Interstate 45 Texas

Interstate 45 runs from Galveston, Texas to Dallas, Texas, along the old U.S. 75 corridor. On the first day of this roadtrip I drove Interstate 45 from Dallas to Spring, and the second day I drove the interstate from Spring to Houston.

	Interstate 45 South at Exit 283B - TO U.S. 175 -Kaufman/Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The northern few miles of Interstate 45 are on viaducts.
	Interstate 45 South at Exit 283A - Lamar St. It is hard to believe we are just about two miles south of downtown Dallas at this point.

	Interstate 45 South at Exit 280 - Linfield St./Illinois Ave. in Dallas.
	Interstate 45 South at Exit 279 - Loop 12.
	Interstate 45 South at Exit 277 - Simpson Stuart Rd.
	Interstate 45 South at Exit 276B - Interstate 20 East -Shreveport.
	Interstate 45 South at Exit 276A - Interstate 20 West -Ft. Worth. This interchange is one of several impressive stacks in the DFW area.

	Interstate 45 South at Exit 69 - Louetta Rd./Holzwarth Rd. This is the last exit I saw on this day as I made it to the Motel 6 of Spring, Texas.
