Interstate 45 connects Galveston and Houston to Dallas along a former U.S. 75 corridor. On Day Four of the South Texas Roadtrip, I drove Interstate 45 from U.S. 190 in Huntsville to Interstate 30 in downtown Dallas.

	Interstate 45 North approaching Exit 284A - Interstate 30. This gantry, located about 3/4 mile south of Interstate 30, also contains the "Interstate 45 ENDS" signage. Interstate 45 ends and U.S. 75 begins at Interstate 30.
	Interstate 45 North at Exit 284A - Interstate 30. The Interstate 45 exit numbering continues for a couple miles past Interstate 30, then ends at the Woodall Rodgers Freeway. The highway between Interstate 30 and the Woodall Rogers Freeway is also hidden Interstate 345.
	View from the end of the off-ramp from Interstate 45 North to Interstate 30. Two lanes are allocated for Interstate 30 West, which will enter the infamous Mixmaster interchange in two miles.
