DELAWARE TRIP
Interstate 40 Oklahoma
A transcontinental route spanning over 2,700 miles from Barstow, California to Wilmington, North Carolina, Interstate 40 goes through eight states along its journey. It passes through varied landscapes, from the deserts of California, Arizona, and New Mexico, to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Tennessee and North Carolina. On Day Nine of the Delaware Trip, I drove Interstate 40 from Interstate 81 to Jackson, Tennessee, where I stopped for the night, and on the tenth and final day of the trip, I drove Interstate 40 from Jackson to Interstate 240 near Oklahoma City.
