DELAWARE TRIP
Interstate 44 Oklahoma

Interstate 44 runs from Wichita Falls, Texas, to St. Louis, Missouri. On the first and second days of the Delaware Trip, I drove Interstate 44 from Oklahoma City to St. Louis, with a hotel stop in Joplin, Missouri, between Day One and Day Two.

	Interstate 44 East at Exit 158 - OK 66 - Wellston.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 166 - OK 18 - Chandler/ Cushing.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 179 - OK 99 - Stroud/ Drumright.
	Interstate 44 East at the Turner Turnpike Toll Plaza just east of the OK 99 interchange. Motorists who pay toll will have $3.50 less in their wallet by the time they leave this plaza.
	A closer view of the Turner Turnpike toll plaza. The turnpike is Oklahoma's busiest, and on this day, it was full of trucks transporting goods.

	Interstate 44 East at Exit 215 - OK 97 - Sapulpa/ Sand Springs.
	Interstate 44 East approaching Exit 218 - Creek Turnpike East - 1/2 mile.
	Interstate 44 East approaching Exit 218 - Creek Turnpike East - 1/4 mile.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 218 - Creek Turnpike East. The turnpike bypasses Tulsa to its south and east.
	And just in case you didn't get it the first time, a little further down the road, you see another set of signs for Exit 218.
	This sign, about two miles west of the eastern end of the Turner Turnpike, tells motorists to continue following Interstate 44 and the Will Rogers Turnpike to Joplin.

	Interstate 44 East at Exit 222A - 49th W. Ave. This exit is the first one in the Tulsa area. The Turner Turnpike ends 1/2 mile before this interchange.

	Interstate 44 East at Exit 223C - 33rd W. Ave.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 224 - U.S. 75 - Okmulgee/ Bartlesville.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 226A - Riverside Dr.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 226B - Peoria Ave.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 227 - Lewis Ave.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 228 - Harvard Ave.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 229 - Yale Ave./Saint Francis Hospital.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 230 - Sheridan Rd./E. 41st St.
	Just like in the westbound lanes, there is a U.S. 44 shield instead of an Interstate 44 shield at the U.S. 64/OK 51 interchange. These temporary shields are necessary due to the widening of Interstate 44 in this area.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 231 - U.S. 64/OK 51 - Muskogee/Broken Arrow. If seen in the right light, the imprints of a U.S. 66 and an OK 33 shield can be seen in the empty space on the far left sign.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 234A - U.S. 169 JCT. - Broken Arrow/Owasso. U.S. 169 is being widened, so this interchange is temporarily closed.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 234B - Garnett Rd.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 235 - East 11th St.
	Interstate 44 East approaching Exit 241 - OK 66 East - 1/2 mile. This is also where Exit 240 for OK 167 North and 193rd E. Ave. is located, even though there is no sign indicating that.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 241 - OK 66 East - Catoosa/Claremore.
	Interstate 44 East approaching Creek Turnpike West exit - Second Right. The next exit is that of Interstate 44 from U.S. 412.
	Interstate 44 East at U.S. 412 East exit. The ramp for Interstate 44 East is two lanes wide and sweeps high over the interchange of U.S. 412 and the Creek Turnpike.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 248 - OK 266 West - Port of Catoosa.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 255 - OK 20 - Claremore/ Pryor.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 269 - OK 28 - Adair, Chelsea/S. Grand Lake. A rare case of a comma seen on an exit sign.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 283 - U.S. 69 - Big Cabin.
	Interstate 44 East at the Will Rogers Turnpike Toll Plaza. Like the Turner Turnpike, the Will Rogers Turnpike toll is $3.50 for cars.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 289 - OK 66/U.S. 60 - Vinita. OK 66 actually begins about five miles west of this interchange.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 302 - U.S. 59/U.S. 60 - Afton/Fairland/Grove.
	Interstate 44 East at Exit 313 - OK 10 - Miami.
	Interstate 44 East approaching end of Will Rogers Turnpike - 1 mile.
