DELAWARE TRIP
Interstate 495 Virginia

Interstate 495 is better known nationwide as the Capital Beltway around the Washington, DC area. It carries Interstate 95 with it for most of its southern and eastern sections. On Day Eight of the Delaware Trip, I drove Interstate 495 North from U.S. 50, then west, then south, to Interstate 66 in Virginia.

	Mileage sign on Interstate 495 South approaching Interstate 66 East in 1 1/2 miles. The exit is actually for VA 267 East.
	Interstate 495 South at Exit 45A - VA 267 West/Dulles Airport.
	Interstate 495 South at Exit 45B - TO Interstate 66 East - Washington. Interstate 66 is actually about four miles away.
	Interstate 495 South at Exit 46A - VA 123 South - Chain Bridge Rd. - Tysons Corner/Vienna.
	Interstate 495 South at Exit 46B - VA 123 North - Chain Bridge Rd. - McLean.
	Interstate 495 South at Exits 47A-B - VA 7 - Leesburg Pike - Falls Church/Tysons Corner.
	Interstate 495 South approaching Exit 49 - Interstate 66 West - 1 1/2 miles. Traffic heading for Interstate 66 East exited the interstate three miles back at Exit 45B for VA 267 East.
	Interstate 495 South at Exit 49 - Interstate 66 West - Manassas/Front Royal.
